The cartel Black Venom would almost do anything to get their hands on the treasure that Logan, Ange and their friends search for. This is a good yarn, full of violence and waterborne chase scenes in the Keys. The betrayal sets in motion some of the nastiest actions one could read about.
Totally unbelievable story, poorly written. There is inadequate character development. The heros’ ability to consistently escape from an overwhelming number of well armed cartel members and their murderous jefe if just beyond belief.
This is the 4th book in the series and brings back characters from previous novels. It is helpful to read his books in order. I enjoy reading books that use the Florida Keys as the location for the story (I can visualize where everything is taking place) due to my frequent vacations over many years and personal knowledge of the area. This book is action packed and hard to put down. It has more violence than what I prefer but is still very good.
If you love pirate adventures with a modern daY twist for treasure hunting you will love this book. It brings history to life in an exciting fashion.
enjoyable, liked the people, action all around good book
Quick read that stretched belief a little. I still like Logan Dodge and enjoy the Key West setting but the pirate treasure storyline was hard to believe.
