This is a well written book on recovery from incest. It is an easier read than The Courage To Heal, but more than that it is written by a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. McKinnon's prose is easy to follow and understand. You don't need a Master's degree to know where she is going with her program and it might even change how you see any abuse you may have experienced. It is reasonably priced and a must for anyone who treats people who have been abused as children. Solidly written.

This book was given to me for trying to recover from incest and childhood sexual abuse. What happened to me was not as severe as most that have written reviews but this book helped me.
