This is a good watered down version of the original for you toddler or child who just can't sit through a longer Dr. Suess book like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I bought this for Christmas 2014 for my then two year old son. At the time, and somewhat still even though now he's three, he needed board books because he would just tear paper and rip pages out. That's what paper is for anyway, right? So, I got this in hopes that we could share the story of the Grinch, but without the paper ripping. I was wrong.The flaps stand in for paper and can be easily ripped out by a two year old. Now, if your toddler is not destructive, then you're golden! There are tons of flaps in this book. Like all flap books once you open them they will never flip back down, but who cares there's lots and lots of flaps! If, however, your child has a penchant for paper tearing like mine be prepared to purchase some ultra clear mailing tape. This is the tape that fixes the tears the best.As for the book itself, the story starts on the night of the Christmas eve. The Grinch has already formulated his plan and he is taking all the decorations, food, presents, and Christmas cheer. The Whos still sing despite having no physical manifestations of Christmas cheer. The Grinch hears them singing, wonders why, and then his heart grows. The Grinch returns said Christmas cheer and then joins the Whos for Christmas dinner and celebrations. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas in 10 pages. Bada Bing! Bada Boom! However, don't forget the flaps! Since there are so many, although the story can be read quickly, getting through all those flaps take time and my son under careful watch can sit with this book on his own for 15-20 mins looking through all the flaps! Of which any parent of a toddler will tell you is like an eternity of peace and quiet!The ultimate down side is it's size. You cannot fit the book on a regular shelf with the spine facing the proper way. You will have to store it with the spine facing up/down or flat on your bookshelf. That is unless you have really tall bookshelves, then again, you're golden!

This is a great book for little one who like to lift the flaps. The story is short, but the Grinch’s story is still told. If you’re looking for a detailed version of The Grinch, this book isn’t the right choice. The flaps entertained my 5 year old who is obsessed with The Grinch story.

Our 14 month old loves this book and his stuffed grinch. He is fascinated with all his lift-a-flap books. This one is not as sturdy as some, so we only let him have it when we are reading it to him. It is loaded with labs and he just loves opening them. So far it's holding up fine. He got it for Christmas.

This abridged pop up book is perfect for parents who want to read the Grinch to a child who is too young for the original. It has quite a few flaps on each page and the book is made from a sturdy card board.Despite being abridged, the highlights of the story still hit home and provide for a great experience.

Read dementions before you buy & understand there's 60+ flaps throughout the book. It's great for an older kid but there's just way to much going on in it for my 16 month old I thought it was a basic board book & had a few flaps I wasn't paying much attention and that's my fault but be aware of all of that.

Nice flap book. LOTS of flaps for kids....however some of them are pretty boring. It feels like they were just trying to make a bunch of flaps and didn't really care what they put under them. Also, story is VERY abbreviated. Only 4-5 pages long and maybe a sentence or two on each page.

I purchased several holiday books for my two year old this past Christmas and this was his favorite by far. There are plenty of flaps to lift and keep him entertained. The story is a brief introduction to the Grinch's tale and easy for a young child to understand.

I bought this book for my 3 month old granddaughter. That sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? I couldn't help myself; I loved the Grinch 50+ years ago and my kids loved him 30 years ago, so I had to start my granddaughter off right, even if we had to store the book till next year. Well, we didn't have to worry about that. She loves it! When it's storytime and her Mom holds up different books to choose from, she voices her opinion (it's really a loud squawk) when Mom holds this book up. We don't know why she likes it so much; maybe the bright colors or the rhyming words. This is the real Grinch story, but with less words on each page and little pop-up tabs to keep the baby's attention. And that it does! When Mom tries to put the book up before this baby's ready, she lets out a shreek that you wouldn't believe. I don't know what kind of review this is, but I'll just leave you with the fact that this Grammy is thrilled to have introduced the Grinch to the next generation!

There is nothing worthwhile reading in this entire book. I have read many financial books, including biographies of well known investors. This book reads like a sloppy wikipedia article (seemed like it was seriously written at a 2nd grade reading level). There are only a handful of facts about Warren's early life that keep getting repeated over and over. The "life lessons" are cliche after cliche with no concrete or truly inspirational ideas. Moreover, there is no author or publisher even listed within the entire book. This is clearly some sort of scam book haphazardly put together to earn a few bucks by enticing people to buy it by putting Warren Buffett's picture on the cover. Save your money, read his wikipedia page for more detailed history, and buy a real book about Warren Buffett.

This is one of those selfpublish "books" that really is just a long CNN article. It has 72 pages but 12 are almost completely blank and the font is huge and the pages are double-spaced, to try to fill as many pages as possible. There is nothing in here you could not find by googling Warren Buffett's top ten quotes, etc. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

Ok this is not a book for investors, if you are looking for a little book that beats, intelligent investor, how to trade options, look elsewhere. This is a great book for a 2nd or 3rd grader. Has fact, is historical and motivational but I would not call it a book on how to invest, or find stocks etc.

I found no author name, no publisher name; it only mentions "Made in USA".The book has only summary on life, lessons and rules for success.There are only 72 pages in whole book, which does not have the detailed stories.

I find Warren Buffet super interesting. I've watched several documentaries of his life. What I loved about this short book is that it was a snapshot of all of the ideas, quotes, and principles. I was able to read this book in one day. Easy to read, understand, and apply. I will definitely come back to this book of wisdom again and again.

Warren Buffett is an interesting man, has had an interesting life and has been incredibly successful as an investor. He shares his life story and life lessons in this book. He knew as a child that he would be a wealthy man. The way he conducted his life, the opportunities that presented themselves, the people he surrounded himself with and the decisions he made early on, all contribute to what he has become and his wealth factor. I'd recommend the book to anyone interested in learning something of Mr. Buffett or his views on life.

This is quite an inspirational book which reveals the story of one of the most successful people on earth, Warren Buffet - his beginnings, his successes, his principles, and 25 quotes which illustrate his wisdom. I highly recommend it!

I was definitely interested throughout the book, i did feel the authors ideas didnt flow at times, as he did bounce around between stories, but it was a worthwhile read about a key figure in investing history, filled with lessons from the best of the best. And the recap at the end was, i feel, most helpful, in case you are new to investing and still learning the jargon, alot of famous buffet quotes put in to laymens terms. If youd like to get into long-term or value investing, this is a good book to read to see if thats what your looking for.
